This light was reproduced from William Porter's & Sons 1891 catalog page. The original model was made of tin and burned kerosene. The caption from the catalog says it is very popular with smack (sailboat) owners.
This light was designed to be hung from an iron hanger. Note the vents on the top to allow heat to escape from an oil light. We have converted the design to a wall mount and would be happy to convert it back to a hanging light for use with an oil lamp. Please contact us for this option.
Size: 6" W x 6" D x 16 1/2" H You may also choose cross bars or panes.
